The EECL-1AAP-3AAP from EECL are 1 + 3 Axis Antenna Positioners. They consist of a dedicated control system for power distribution, a motor communication interface, and a laser control system. These antenna positioners allow the position of antennas of devices under test (DUTs) to be adjusted in steps of 1°. They utilize a crosshair laser pointer (integrated) for antenna alignment. These antenna positioners have DUT depths of 50 mm and 110 mm, a DUT width of up to 200 mm, and a DUT measurement height of less than 320 mm.
The EECL-1AAP-3AAP positioners support versatile and easy-to-use software platforms, including MATLAB, LabVIEW, and Python, which allow for scripting antenna cuts synchronized to VNA or spectrum analyzer measurements. The processing of data from the scripting procedure can be performed to show both linear and circular data in both 2D and 3D coordinate systems. These antenna positioners can be powered via a single DC power connector and controlled through a USB 2.0 interface using a simple ASCII command set. They also allow customizable rotary joints for enhanced cable routing.
