50PMA-070 Image

The 50PMA-070 from JFW Industries is a 16-Port Transceiver Test System that operates from 2 to 6 GHz. It is designed to simulate static and dynamic environments for testing radio-to-radio communication links. This test system incorporates a mesh configuration with 120 paths, ensuring a path between every pair of ports. Every path includes an individually controlled programmable attenuator that allows signal levels to be adjusted across the full attenuation range. Each attenuator has an attenuation range of 0 to 95 dB in 1 dB steps and an attenuation accuracy of ±1.25 dB. This test system has an insertion loss of 45 dB and a switching speed of 4 µs. It can handle an average input power of 1 W and has a VSWR of less than 1.80:1.

The 50PMA-070 transceiver test system can be either manually controlled via a 20-button keypad and LCD or remotely via Ethernet and RS-232 interfaces. It uses the real all paths (RAP) command to check the attenuation settings of all the attenuators. This system requires an AC supply of 100 to 240 V and consumes 4 A of current. It is available in a 19-inch rack-mount aluminium enclosure that measures 36.00 x 19.00 inches (with castor wheels) and has SMA or N-type (female) connectors.
