HL844x Series Image

The HL844x Series from HYPERLABS are Kelvin Bias Tees that operate from 50 kHz to 67 GHz. They are specifically designed for applications where both RF and DC signals are applied to the device under test (DUT) and precision measurements are required. These bias tees eliminate DC biasing errors as the sense coil allows for accurate measurements of the DC voltage applied across the DUT. They have a breakdown voltage of 11/30 V and a breakdown current of less than 175 mA. These kelvin bias tees have an amplitude match of ±0.2 dB and a phase balance of ±4°. They have a group delay of 115 ps and a rise time of 5 ps. 

The HL844x Series bias tees are available as modules that measure 2.100 x 1.300 x 0.425 inches and have SMA (female) & 1.85 mm (female) connectors. These RoHS-compliant 50-Ohm bias tees are ideal for use in 112 Gbps PAM4 signaling, optical communication systems, high-speed data systems, and interfacing between devices with incompatible DC operating points.
