The C10067 Series from Werlatone Inc. are 4-Port Dual Directional Couplers that operate from 0.01 to 30 MHz. These 40 dB couplers have a directivity of more than 20 dB and an insertion loss of less than 0.25 dB. They can handle a CW input power of 500 W and have an insertion loss of less than 0.25 dB with a VSWR of less than 1.20:1. These dual-directional couplers consist of two 3-port uni-directional couplers, internally connected in tandem, which provide measurement of both forward and reverse power. Unlike a bi-directional coupler, the directivity of this dual directional coupler is unaffected by the loads on the coupled ports. They are available in Aluminum modules that measure 10.5 x 3.0 x 2.0 inches and are available with N-Type female, 7/16 female, N male, 7/16 female, SMA, or BNC connector options. These couplers are suitable for simultaneously monitoring a system’s forward and reverse power, as well as for reflectometer measurements.
