The X18-U from Maxtena is a SATCOM Beamformer Antenna that is designed for UAV applications. It uses Maxtena’s Dynamic Aperture Technology (DAT) and delivers a downlink data rate of 700 kbps & an uplink data rate of 350 kbps. This antenna is an 18-element active electronically scanned phased array (beamformer) with Native RF Cybersecurity and an additional rejection of 20-30 dB for the whole hemisphere. It has on-board microprocessors, an FPGA, and tightly integrated digital & RF functionalities. This antenna uses advanced software with artificial intelligence to track multiple LEO satellites without GPS assistance. It has anti-jamming and interference suppression capabilities, allowing it to track and null up to 17 interferers simultaneously while maintaining the link. This antenna is available in a low-profile solid-state package and is ideal for robotics, military radios, GNSS, oil & gas, automotive, IoT, and autonomous applications.
