The KU SG 2.45-250A from Kuhne Electronic is a Microwave Generator that operates from 2.4 to 2.5 GHz. It delivers an output power of up to 250 W in steps of 1 W and has a frequency step size of 1 MHz. The generator can also provide pulses as well as duty-cycle specific outputs. It has an isolator that offers protection against VSWR spikes and uses an algorithm to find the frequency with minimum reflection and also monitors transistor temperature, forward power, and reflected power. The generator requires a DC supply of 32 V and consumes less than 18 A of current.

The KU SG 2.45-250A provides warnings/alarms through an LED for situations like under-voltage. It can be remote-controlled using a 3.3 V serial interface. The generator is available in a milled Aluminium case that measures 144 x 107 x 25 mm with N-Type (female) connector, and is ideal for microwave heating, propagation tests of EM waves, EMC tests, plasma generation, and various other applications.
