The HPGP24S2520 from WAVEPIA is a GaN Signal Generator that operates in the ISM band from 2400 to 2500 MHz. It has a CW output power range from 37 dBm to 42 dBm with an efficiency of more than 60%. The power level can be controlled in increments of 1 dB. It also allows a phase control from 0 to 360° with a resolution of 1°. This generator integrates WAVEPIA’s patented High Power GaN Phase Locked Loop (PLL) (HPGP) technology to lock the signal onto a particular frequency for greater stability. It has an optional VSWR tracking function to track and prevent unwanted signal reflections and a soft start function to limit the in-rush current from damaging sensitive components within the system.
The HPGP24S2520 requires a DC supply from 28 to 32 V. It is available in a module that measures 82 x 65 mm with SMA connectors and is ideal for bio and health sciences, RF heating and drying, solid-state microwave oven, semiconductor equipment, and plasma lighting system applications.
