The STL 413 from Crane Aerospace & Electronics is an RF limiter operating from 8 to 16 GHz, is designed to protect microwave circuits and receivers. It has a 10 dB limiting threshold and a flat leakage of up to 17 dBm. This limiter has a recovery time of 200 ns and an insertion loss of less than 2.4 dB. It can handle a CW input power of 30 W and a peak power of 500 W with a VSWR of less than 2.0:1. 

The STL 413 is qualified as a MIL-I-45208 Quality Systems facility by the DOD, and lending foreign and domestic military OEM’s and MIL-STD-883 screening models are also available. It is available in both a hermetically sealed coaxial package measuring 1.14 x 0.310 inches with SMA connectors and a drop-in package measuring 0.327 x 0.121 inches.
