The ADRF5721 from Analog Devices is a 4-Bit Silicon Digital Attenuator that operates from 9 kHz to 40 GHz. This attenuator has a 30 dB range with a step size of 2 dB. It has an insertion loss of less than 3.4 dB, and can handle up to 26 dBm of average power and 30 dBm of peak power. The ADRF5721 requires a dual supply voltage of +3.3 V and -3.3 V. It features a serial peripheral interface (SPI), parallel mode control, and CMOS compatible logic controls. The attenuator is available in a 16-terminal, 2.5 x 2.5 mm, RoHS compliant, land grid array (LGA) package and operates from -40°C to +105°C.
