PSC18H17S

The PSC18H17S from Nuvotronics is a surface-mount 90-degree hybrid coupler that operates from 2 to 18 GHz. Developed using Nuvotronics’ PolyStrata® air-coax technology, this self-shielded coupler uses an air dielectric to deliver low-loss, high-performance operation in a compact SMT package. It can handle up to 20 watts of power, has an insertion loss of 0.75 dB, isolation of more than 20 dB, amplitude balance of ±1.1 dB, and phase balance of ±1.1 to 4 degrees across the band. The coupler is available in tape-and-reel packaging for high-volume assembly and is well suited for demanding defense and aerospace applications, including electronic warfare, radar, and SIGINT systems. It can also be used in the development of balanced amplifiers, Butler matrices, and other wideband RF/microwave products and sub-systems.
