The AM3200 Series 3 from AMCAD Engineering are Modular Pulse IV Systems designed to bias transistors in quasi-isothermal conditions, enabling accurate device modeling and characterization. They primarily consist of 2 pulse generators and a control box, and use external signals to synchronize several control boxes and pulse channels with high accuracy. The control box integrates an AM3211 pulse generator to quickly and safely bias the transistor gate, and an AM3221 power probe to bias the transistor drain for high-power pulsed measurements.

The AM3200 Series 3 systems have a voltage measurement range of 250 V and a current measurement range of 30 A, with a pulse width of 20 ns to DC. They use 16-bit resolution and have a noise-free resolution better than 3 mV. The AM3211 requires a ±25 V DC supply while the AM3221 requires a 250 V DC supply. These Pulse IV systems consume less than 100 W of power. They are available in compact enclosures measuring 188 x 147 x 117 mm and have BNC connectors.
