The 7038-0623 from SV Microwave is a Mini-D RF connection system that features a Mini-D RF female bulkhead connector integrated into a rugged, lightweight aluminum D-Sub style housing. The aluminum housing has 8 high-density Mini-D RF contact interfaces with port-to-port spacing of .110”. From the rear of this housed bulkhead connector, eight individual 6-inch .047 cable assemblies extend outward, each terminating in a 2.92 mm male connector. The assembly supports operation from DC to 40 GHz based on the 2.92 mm interface.

The Mini-D RF interface is recessed within the D-Sub style housing to protect the contacts from mechanical damage during handling and mating. Its rugged yet lightweight aluminum construction provides structural durability without adding unnecessary weight, making it suitable for demanding aerospace and test environments. The D-shaped housing geometry acts as a mechanical key, ensuring proper orientation during installation and preventing mis-mating.
