The NDR505 from Epiq Solutions is a 4-Channel RF Distribution Unit that operates from 475 MHz to 4.25 GHz (low band) and 4 to 18.5 GHz (high band). It is a rugged signal conditioning system designed to switch signals from different antenna arrays and distribute them to the input ports of a 4-channel, 18 GHz, phase-coherent software-defined radio (SDR) or tuner for applications such as signal identification and direction finding. This distribution unit primarily consists of up to 20 receive channels with 3 sub-units incorporating gain control, switching, and routing functions, and a power supply & control unit. It also includes a test signal input for calibration. This distribution unit has a gain of up to 40 dB and a noise figure of less than 12 dB. It has a switching speed of less than 150 µs. 

The NDR505 supports two gain settings as options to compensate for different cable lengths, thereby ensuring efficient signal routing and flexible deployment. This distribution system can be remotely controlled using D38999/21NB35PA interfaces based on LVTTL control logic. It requires a DC supply of +12 V and consumes less than 50 W of power. This RF signal conditioning system is available in a compact and rugged enclosure measuring 6.375 x 4.250 x 1.220 inches and has SMA connectors. It is ideal for airborne applications.
