Gflex

Spectrum Monitoring Receiver by PCTEL
Gflex Image

The Gflex® from PCTEL is a Scanning Receiver that is designed for multi-operator 2G/3G/4G/5G testing. It supports frequencies ranging from 10 MHz to 8 GHz (Sub-8 GHz), 24.26 to 44 GHz & 47.2 to 48.2 GHz (mmWave). This receiver supports every 5G band defined in the 3GPP release 17 specification and can measure the entire 100 MHz 5G bandwidth using up to 120 5G channels. It supports PSSCH decoding, VITA 49.2 I/Q streaming & capture with simultaneous 2G-5G cellular, NTN, and V2X/C-V2X signal decoding capability. The simultaneous NTN and terrestrial 4G/5G measurements make it easy to verify coverage, identify adjacent channel interference, and ensure regulatory compliance for NTN signals. With its unique set of capabilities, this scanner supports a wide array of government applications, such as signal intelligence, coverage mapping, and interference detection.

The Gflex® scanner can collect all the mmWave and sub-8 GHz data needed to benchmark multiple operator networks in one pass. It requires a DC supply from 9 to 17 V and consumes less than 40 W of power. This scanning receiver is designed for walk and drive testing scenarios and also includes a hot-swappable battery pack for these purposes. It is easy to integrate into the existing test setup with support from multiple software platforms. This scanner is available in an enclosure that measures 163 x 207 x 60 mm. It is suitable for applications such as 5G network optimization, multi-operator network benchmarking, spectrum clearing, network troubleshooting, in-building wireless, signal intelligence, interference detection, and coverage assurance.
