The LB5926A fromĀ LadyBugĀ Technologies is a True RMS power sensor thatĀ operatesĀ fromĀ 1 MHz to 26.5 GHz.Ā It is designed for general-purpose average power, true RMS, and scalar power measurements across a wide range of modulated signals. The power sensor offers fast measurement speed and a broad dynamic range, along with multiple interface options to support programmatic and embedded applications. It employs a patented thermally stable architecture combined with a 2-path square-law diode detection scheme, enabling zero thermal drift andĀ eliminatingĀ the need for zeroingĀ &Ā calibrationĀ beforeĀ use. These capabilities enhance measurement accuracy, repeatability, and overall reliability inĀ ATEĀ systems.Ā
The LB5926A has a power measurement range from -60 dBm to +26 dBmĀ and a linearity of up to 3.0% (uncalibrated).Ā It usesĀ LadyBug’sĀ PMA-12 power meter softwareĀ application,Ā andĀ can be controlled remotely via USBĀ and optional SPI & I2CĀ interfaces.Ā This sensor alsoĀ utilizesĀ standard SCPI commands and offers a rich set of triggering capabilities, including level-controlledĀ internal triggering, external triggering, delays, and hold-off.Ā It is available in a module and hasĀ aĀ 3.5 mm (male) connector.Ā This true RMS power sensor is ideal for research and development, manufacturing and services, radar, satellite, and telecommunications applications.
