MMW-STUDIO Series Image

The MT920 Series from Maury Microwave is an RF Software Suite designed to perform test and characterization of components in mmWave and THz frequency bands. It is intended to work with waveguide-banded mmWave VNA systems (and up to 1.1 THz). When combined with the MT920B MMW-STUDIO LP and a vector modulation unit, the software enables high-resolution power control of the DUT. This base suite features an instrument control, mmWave VNA configuration, full calibration routine, parameter sweeps, and small/large-signal measurements. The high resolution obtained enables accurate and repeatable vector-corrected 50-Ohm gain compression and power sweep measurements. 

The MT920 Series employs a proprietary calibration procedure and algorithm to control the power delivered to the device at every frequency supported by the waveguide extender. This software also characterizes the effect of wafer probes either using MMW-STUDIO’s calibration GUI or an external software package. The MT920B supports the base suite in conducting active load pull measurements with fundamental load impedance control and large signal measurements at any controlled load impedance value. This software suite uses MT920C for data display and visualization of measurements.
