The FSW26 from Rohde & Schwarz is a Signal and Spectrum Analyzer that operates from 2 Hz to 26.5 GHz. It is capable of testing diverse wireless technologies such as LTE, 5G NR, IEEE 802.11, and NB-IoT with specific requirements and characteristics. This spectrum analyzer offers excellent RF phase noise and sensitivity to support ACLR and harmonic measurements. It has an analysis bandwidth of up to 2 GHz, which allows users to capture the entire bandwidth of uplink and downlink signals, and evaluate the complete system. This analyzer offers a real-time bandwidth of 800 MHz to reliably detect very short sporadic interference in the nanosecond range, even in close proximity to powerful carriers. This signal analyzer has a DANL of -148 dBm.
The FSW26 supports pulse/time sidelobe measurements and frequency hopping signals in radar systems. This signal analyzer also includes a YIG preselector to suppress out-of-band interference and reject image frequencies to provide an image-free spectrum analysis for radar system optimization. It can be combined with the R&S SMW200A signal generator and R&S FSW-K17 to also measure absolute and relative group delay on satellite transponders with a measurement accuracy of 1 ns. This analyzer has a powerful vector signal analysis application to flexibly analyze digitally-modulated signal carriers down to the bit level.
The FSW26 has a 12.1-inch multi-touch display and intuitive menu structure, offering ease of operation for users. This analyzer displays various measurements simultaneously in separate windows, which greatly facilitates the result interpretation. It requires an AC supply from 100 to 240 V and consumes less than 7.3 A of current. This signal and spectrum analyzer is available as a benchtop enclosure that measures 462 x 240 x 504 mm and has SMA (female) connectors.
