The RB210 from Pixus Technologies is a Rugged Software Defined Radio (SDR) platform that operates from 70 MHz to 6 GHz. It is designed for SIGINT, passive RADAR, drone deterrence/spoofing, and prototyping systems for advanced wireless (Wi-Fi/Cell/MIMO). This SDR integrates 2 transmit and 4 receive chains that can be independently controlled and offers customizable modular front and rear faceplates according to the user’s requirement. It combines the AD9361 RFIC direct-conversion transceiver providing up to 56 MHz of real-time bandwidth, an open and reprogrammable Spartan6 FPGA, and fast SuperSpeed USB 3.0 connectivity with convenient bus-power. The radio requires a DC supply of 12/24 V.

This IP67-rated SDR is available in a weatherproof enclosure with options for conduction-cooled or air-cooled versions. The conduction-cooled construction is designed to meet the MIL 810 standard for shock/vibration testing and MIL 461 standard for EMI testing while the air-cooled version is specifically designed for transport grade ruggedization. It measures 87 x 156 x 300 mm and can be used in human wearable configurations or other applications requiring low SWaP (Size, Weight, and Power).

The RB210 can be installed in shock isolated transit cases or shock isolated equipment racks hosted in mobile equipment shelters. It can also be pole-mounted with loose connectors for the power port and standard I/O with GPIO connectors. This platform is ideal for use in various types of airborne, shipboard, soldier mount, ground vehicle, and outdoor designs.
