The RSWM-8X8ER from Becker Nachrichtentechnik is a Non-Blocking 8x8 Switching Matrix that operates from 20 to 8000 MHz. It offers a non-blocking switch system which allows the combination of any input with any output in a flexible and easy way that enables free access to many signal sources like antennas or signal generators. The switch has 8 equivalent inputs and 8 equivalent outputs interconnected with a non-blocking matrix that has the ability for one input to route to several outputs without any loss of transmission. It has a noise figure of 11 dB and provides channel isolation of -80 dB.
The switch utilizes modern solid-state integrated switching elements which ensure a quick response to operating inputs and a huge number of switching cycles with minimum maintenance. It is equipped with a local MMI on the front panel as well as LAN and USB interfaces for control and operation. The switch matrix is available in a compact 19”, 1 U enclosure that measures 482 x 455 x 44 mm with SMA-female connectors. It is suitable for use in radio monitoring, signal routing, R&D, and test equipment applications.
