The ATEK672N5 from ATEK MIDAS is a GaAs MMIC Switchable Filter Bank that operates from 2 to 18 GHz. It integrates eight sub-octave bandpass filters covering eight selectable bands from 1.7 to 19.5 GHz, and an external bypass path for connecting an off-chip filter, a through line, or an amplifier. This 50-ohm filter bank has a passband insertion loss of 8 dB in the filter path and 7 dB in the bypass path, and provides more than 50 dBc of out-of-band rejection. It has an input and output return loss of 13 dB.

The ATEK672N5 filter bank uses a 4-bit CMOS control word to select or switch between filters, and has a switching speed of less than 200 ns. It requires a DC supply of 3 to 5.5 V and consumes 16 mA of current. It is available in a compact 5 × 5 mm QFN surface-mount package and can operate over a temperature range from -40°C to +85°C. It is ideal for use in wideband receivers, SDRs, EW, ECM, counter-UAS, telecom, satellite communications, and test & measurement applications.
