MA4AGSW8-1

The MA4AGSW8-1 from MACOM is an SP8T PIN Diode Switch that operates from 50 MHz to 50 GHz. It has a switching speed of less than 20 ns and can handle a CW input power of up to 23 dBm. The switch has an insertion loss of less than 2.3 dB and provides over 30 dB of isolation. It is fully passivated with silicon nitride and adds a polymer layer on the top for scratch protection. The switch has a protective coating to prevent damage to the junctions and the anode air bridges during handling and assembly. It is fabricated on an OMCVD epitaxial wafer using a process designed for high device uniformity and extremely low parasitic effects. This switch is available as a die that measures 2.385 x 1.285 x 0.107 mm and is ideal for switching arrays in radar systems, radiometers, test equipment, and other multi-assembly component applications.
