The MAMF-011183 from MACOM is a PIN Diode SPDT Switch that operates from 20 to 44 GHz. This switch can handle a CW input power of 41.2 dBm, provides an isolation of more than 32 dB, and has an insertion loss of less than 1.7 dB. It has a switching speed of 36 ns, a rise time of 4 ns, and a fall time of 13 ns. This 50-ohm terminated switch utilizes MACOM’s proven AlGaAs PIN diode technology for broadband performance with low loss and integrates MACOM’s PIN diode TTL-compatible driver MADR-011022. It requires a positive DC supply from 4.5 to 5.5 V, a back bias from -10 V to -25 V, and consumes 35 mA of current. This RoHS-compliant switch is available in a surface-mount PQFN package that measures 5 x 4 mm and is ideal for 5G, point-to-point, radar, radiometers, test and instrumentation, and other high-frequency applications.
