The UMPZ2 from Alps Alpine is a 5.9 GHz V2X Communication Module for Automotive applications in North America and Europe. It is IEEE 802.11p, 1609(Wave), and TS102636 (ETSI) compliant and supports the OFDM modulation technique. The module delivers more than 20 dBm of power and is available in a 35 x 25 x 4.59 mm LGA package with USB Data transfer, Firmware download, I2C EEPROM, and Security device interfaces.
