The HAWKEYE™ III LITE from L3Harris Technologies is an Auto-Acquisition Tri-Band VSAT for high-speed data communications - Internet, VPN, and video transmission. This terminal has a Tx frequency range from 7.9 – 8.4 GHz, 13.75 – 14.50 GHz, 29 – 31 GHz, and an Rx frequency range from 7.25 – 7.75 GHz, 10.95 – 12.75 GHz, 19.2 – 21.2 GHz covering the X, Ku, and Ka bands. It has a 1.2 m parabolic aperture carbon fiber reflector and delivers an EIRP of up to 60.6 dBW. It has an elevation azimuth beamwidth from +90° to - 90° and an elevation beamwidth from +7° to +90°. This VSAT system has a modular design that allows the system to be configured to adapt to varying missions.
The HAWKEYE™ III LITE has a simple user interface via its web-based ViewSat™-E GUI, which provides easy, accurate, and quick acquisition without the need for complex test equipment. It enables satellite auto-acquisition with the press of a button to improve performance and reduce setup time. This terminal allows users to quickly change between frequency bands and modems in minutes and supports external modems through the front panel of our Enhanced Outdoor Unit (EODU). The system is available in light-weight two or three-case design and includes with 4 LAN ports or 3 LAN ports plus a DSL option.
