The MS150 from MLINK is a SATCOM Chipset that operates from 600 to 2700 MHz. This chipset is designed for narrowband satellite communication systems, SMS services, and IoT applications. It integrates an advanced SDR modem with a 32-bit RISC-V core operating at 600 MHz, a 400 MHz VLIW DSP vector core, 8 MB of Flash and PSRAM memory, power management circuitry, and peripheral interfaces. This SATCOM chipset supports IoT-NTN and GMR satellite technologies for data and voice communications, along with HD-FDD, FD-TDD, and TDD operation.
The MS150 delivers a TX output power of +33 dBm (~2 W). It features hardware accelerators for FFT, Turbo coding, and convolutional coding and supports multiple modulation and channel coding/decoding schemes. The chipset supports USB, UART, and I²C interfaces, includes a 32 kHz oscillator input, and integrates an on-chip DC-DC converter with multiple LDO outputs for internal power management. It is available in standard and Lite BGA packages measuring 5.9 × 7.0 mm and 4.5 × 5.0 mm, respectively.
