The QPG6200M from Qorvo is a Multi-Standard Wireless SoC that supports Matter, Thread, Zigbee, Bluetooth Low Energy®, and Bluetooth® Mesh standards. This SoC has a 192 MHz Arm Cortex(R)-M4F MCU with DSP, 2 MB NVM and a 336 kB RAM. It has a Tx power of up to 20 dBm and an Rx sensitivity of up to -101 dBm. This wireless SoC enables the adoption of Matter while supporting existing Zigbee networks without tradeoffs in latency and link performance.
The QPG6200M supports Qorvo’s ConcurrentConnect™ with Multi-Channel capability, enabling Zigbee and Matter to run simultaneously on separate IEEE 802.15.4 channels with reliable RF performance. The technology also incorporates Antenna Diversity for Bluetooth Low Energy and IEEE 802.15.4 (Matter), enhancing effective range and interference robustness. It can be controlled via a GPIO interface. This multi-standard SoC requires a DC supply of 1.7 to 3.3 V and consumes less than 117 mA (Tx) & 2.2 mA (Rx) of current. It is available in a QFN40 package that measures 5.0 x 5.0 mm and is ideal for connected lighting, smart sensors, wearables, and gateway applications.
