The Dates and Location for the International Microwave Symposium (IMS) and Microwave Week 2022 have been officially announced. The event will take place in Denver, Colorado from 19 to 24 June 2022. IMS and Microwave Week 2022 will be a live-in person event held at the Colorado Convention Center. The exhibition will be held from 21 to 23 June 2022.
IMS 2022 will have a live show, a robust technical program and great social opportunities next year for which Denver is a wonderful place. Several innovations have been put into place that will make it easier and more beneficial for industry presenters to participate and tie their work to their exhibits.
A number of new programs have been introduced for presenters coming from the industry. There will be an Industrial Showcase which will be a reception where papers with industrial authors can present a poster that will showcase their work and they can answer any questions about their work or company. Industry supported papers will have the opportunity to add a slide to their presentation that will acknowledge the industry support and associated booth number.
The Systems Forum will be a new feature of IMS 2022. This will be a three-day forum that will bring together the latest in telecommunications, radar and space applications. There will be contributions from MTT-S Sister Societies, RFIC and ARFTG. The program will also be continued where the 50 top-ranked papers, as determined by the Technical Paper Review Committee, will be invited to submit the paper to the IEEE Microwave and Wireless Components Letters (MWCL) for publication.
IMS 2022 will also have a pavilion option for the Connected Systems Pavilion, which will highlight 5G, 6G, radar, and aerospace/defense/space products and applications. Participation in the pavilion will offer an opportunity to give a talk in the theater in the exhibition hall.
Booth selection for IMS 2022 will begin via Zoom on 20 September 2021.
