L3Harris Technologies’ Electron Devices and Narda Microwave-West divisions were acquired by Arlington Capital Partners in August, 2021. They acquired these divisions from Harris and created a new company called Stellant Systems (“Stellant”).

Stellant Systems is a premier manufacturer of critical spectrum and power amplification systems for ground-based, airborne, satellite, Medical and Industrial missions for customers worldwide. Headquartered in Torrance, CA. Stellant Systems designs and manufactures traveling-wave tubes (TWTs), traveling-wave tube amplifiers (TWTAs), microwave power modules (MPMs), klystrons, magnetrons, electronic power conditioners (EPCs) and other spectrum amplification products, as well as xenon gas ion propulsion systems (XIPS).

Stellant has three domestic manufacturing facilities and nearly 800 employees. The company has a storied and distinguished history of innovation and tough problem-solving, starting with Charles Litton’s Engineering Laboratories in 1932, Varian Associates and the first RF amplifying vacuum tube in 1948, and Howard Hughes’ Microwave Tube Division in 1959. Today, Stellant Systems continues innovating and adapting these, and other, technologies to meet the ever-increasing demand for power, frequency and efficiency.
