Richardson RFPD has announced the availability and full design support capabilities for Peraso’s PERSPECTUS™ family of modules that enable high-capacity Fixed Wireless Access networks in the unlicensed 60 GHz spectrum with enhanced software provide efficient 802.11ad/ay solutions.
The new PERSPECTUS modules provide complete USB 3.0 to 802.11ad solutions for high-speed wireless applications including Fixed Wireless and Enterprise data networking infrastructure. The modules use the Peraso X720 and X130 60GHz phased- array chipsets which include a baseband processor and mmWave beamformer transceiver RFICs.
These modules incorporate phased array antennas which offer a variety of gain and field-of-view options. The antennas are integrated into the PCB and provides uniform performance over the entire unlicensed 60GHz band. The modules focus on eliminating the time and cost of designing a module that must be manufactured in high volume and is of high quality and reliability.
