pSemi, A Murata Company, has announced the launch of its new PE42727 UltraCMOS® SPDT RF Switch, a high-performance solution optimized for next-generation DOCSIS® 4.0 broadband systems.
Designed for cable broadband infrastructure operating from 5 MHz to 3.1 GHz, the PE42727 delivers the performance required to support advanced modulation schemes and increasingly wide bandwidths. This 75-ohm RF switch combines high isolation, low insertion loss, excellent linearity, and outstanding harmonic performance, helping system designers meet the demanding requirements of DOCSIS 3.0, 3.1, and 4.0 applications.
Key Benefits of PE42727 include:
- Support for DOCSIS 3.0, 3.1, and 4.0 systems
- Exceptional harmonic performance (–121 dBc second harmonic and –140 dBc third harmonic at 17 MHz)
- Low insertion loss and high isolation across a wide frequency range
- Built on UltraCMOS® process technology, delivering GaAs-like RF performance with CMOS integration and manufacturability
“Broadband access networks are evolving rapidly, and operators require RF solutions that deliver consistent linearity and signal integrity across increasingly wide bandwidths,” said Rodd Novak, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, pSemi. “The PE42727 was engineered specifically to address DOCSIS 4.0 system requirements, giving our customers a reliable, high-performance RF switch to support next generation cable deployments.”
Samples of the PE42727 are available now, and commercial orders are currently being accepted.
