The PE42727 from pSemi is an SPDT Reflective Switch that operates from 5 to 3100 MHz. It is designed to provide high linearity and isolation with low loss over the full frequency band, making it suitable for DOCSIS 3.0/3.1/4.0 cable modems, set-top boxes, and residential gateways. This switch is based on HaRP technology and manufactured on pSemi’s UltraCMOS process, a patented variation of the SOI-on-Sapphire substrate that offers the performance of GaAs with the economy and integration of conventional CMOS. 

The PE42727 provides more than 60 dB of isolation and has an insertion loss of less than 0.63 dB, with a switching time of 38 µs. It is also equipped with a CMOS control driver that provides a control voltage from 1.17 to 3.6 V. This SPDT switch requires a DC supply from 2.3 to 5.5 V and draws less than 150 µA of current. It is available in a 12-lead QFN package that measures 3.00 x 3.00 x 0.75 mm.
