MatSing, a global leader in advanced antenna solutions, has unveiled its latest high-performance cellular antenna. The MS-MBA-3-H8A2, is a next-generation, 3-beam base station antenna designed to optimize network performance in high-density LTE environments. Now available for production, the antenna is a part of MatSing’s Gen-II Macro Product Set and leverages the company’s patented Lens Technology Enabled™ platform.
Built for demanding macrocell applications, the MS-MBA-3-H8A2 operates in the H Band (1695 – 2690 MHz) and features 8x8 MIMO (Multiple Input, Multiple Output) capability - making it ideal for six to nine-sector LTE cell site configurations where maximizing SINR (Signal-to-Interference-plus-Noise Ratio) is essential.
Key Product Features
- 3 Isolated Beams: Each beam uses four independent dual-polarized antennas, with 8 ports per beam, offering true beam separation and optimized coverage.
- Lens Array Architecture: A spherical lens design ensures precise beam shaping and sectorization, enhancing network performance in complex urban or stadium deployments.
- Independent Tilt Control: Each beam includes tilt adjustability from 0° to 15°, providing deployment flexibility based on site-specific needs.
- MIMO Support: Full 8x8 MIMO compatibility in the H Band for increased spectral efficiency and throughput.
- Compact and Durable: Measuring 95.2 x 24.3 x 26.9 inches and weighing 181 lbs (82 kg), the antenna is ruggedly built for outdoor macro deployments.
The MS-MBA-3-H8A2 includes Remote Electrical Tilt (RET) functionality with support for MatSing’s M-RET controller, simplifying alignment and optimization during and after installation. Its single-band architecture enables focused coverage without the complexity of multi-band interference, making it ideal for operators aiming to densify LTE networks while maintaining efficiency and clarity.
This model is part of MatSing’s expanding family of Lens Technology Enabled™ antennas, which have seen wide adoption in high-traffic venues, urban centers, and distributed antenna systems globally.
