Modules meet newest standards for Wi-Fi®, Bluetooth®4.0, ZigBee®
Mouser Electronics, Inc. announced that it is stocking the latest in wireless technology from Murata Wireless Solutions. Mouser’s lineup of Murata Wireless Solutions (MWS) products is excellent news for design engineers and customers that need the newest technology in wireless modules. Murata Wireless specializes in hardware and software designs for the broad market covering the latest wireless standards. Murata’s Wi-Fi™ modules are IEEE 802.11 compliant, FCC certified, and don’t require WLAN embedded software expertise. The world-class form factors require minimal board space, Type VK WiFi module based on Texas Instruments’ CC3000 chipset which is essentially a host-less module. The driver, supplicant, and firmware all reside on the module- Type TN Wi-Fi module, based on Texas Instruments’ WL1271L chip set, provides Bluetooth® v4.0 with Bluetooth® Low Energy (BLE), as well as 802.11 wireless connectivity.
The SyNode™ SN8200 is a self-contained, certified Wi-Fi, Network Controller Module that provides simple serial-to-Wi-Fi connectivity to the internet. It integrates an MCU, IC, RF front end, flash memory, clocks, and on-board antenna to address M2M applications. Murata’s SyChip SN3020 High-Power ZigBee® Module, at just 400mm 2, is the industry’s smallest, fully integrated ZigBee module with +20dBm output power and world class ZigBee RF performance for a wide range of applications. Also available is the SyChip SN3021 Smart-Energy Zigbee Module wireless transceiver with low power consumption, a high transmit power of 20dBm, and a high receiver sensitivity of -103dBm. It is ideal for the Smart Energy market. Both ZigBee Modules are based upon the IEEE 802.15.4 specification. Evaluation kits are available.
