Copper Mountain Technologies (CMT), a developer of innovative RF test and measurement solutions, has released its latest 75 Ohm USB-controlled, 12-port extender or 12-Port 75 Ohm Switch, having a frequency range from 3 MHz to 3 GHz and a switching time of 1 ms. The PE0312-75 Port Extender expands CMT’s product portfolio for 75-ohm test solutions and enhances the flexibility of multi-port testing for broadband, telecommunications, cable, and RF research and production applications in 75-ohm environments.
The PE0312-75 is a USB-controlled, 12-port extender or switch, designed specifically for 75-ohm measurements. It enables seamless expansion from a 2-port VNA to 12 ports for multiple devices or multi-output DUTs, without the need for re-cabling, streamlining complex test configurations. The PE0312-75 enables fast gain and return loss measurements and delivers high repeatability to ensure consistent, high-accuracy measurements in cable, broadcast, and telecommunications testing. For users needing to measure 75-ohm splitters with or without gain, insertion loss, and isolation of a coaxial switch, or six simultaneous 2-port measurements in a production environment, PE0312-75 is the perfect solution.

The PE0312-75 comes with a VNA mounting frame compatible with the SC7540, and two 1-foot N-type male interconnect cables. While the SC7540 is the recommended VNA pairing for this solution, the PE0312-75 is also compatible with other CMT VNAs with 50 to 75 Ohm adapters, as well as VNA models from other manufacturers.
