Mercury Systems has expanded its RF component portfolio with a new line of low-loss tunable bandpass filters for RF applications from 4 GHz to 20 GHz. Packaged in compact 5 mm QFN surface-mount formats, these filters provide flexible, digitally tunable solutions for demanding RF applications such as receiver preselectors, harmonic rejection, and sub-band filtering in wideband systems.
AM3275 – 6 to 18 GHz Tunable Filter Bank
The AM3275 provides 16 digitally tunable bandpass filter states covering the 6 GHz to 18 GHz frequency range, with an insertion loss of only 6 dB and an ultimate rejection of 40 dB. This MMIC provides a lower loss, pin-compatible alternative to our other digitally tunable filters. Suitable for receiver preselector front-ends, harmonic rejection filter, or sub-band filtering for ultra-wideband digitizers.

AM3227 – 5 to 20 GHz Tunable Filter Bank
The AM3227 provides 8 bandpass filter states covering 5 GHz to 20 GHz, with an insertion loss of only 6 dB and a rejection of greater than 40 dB in a compact 5 mm QFN package. The MMIC includes an integrated input/output switch, including a wideband bypass path. Suitable for receiver preselectors or general-purpose sub-octave filtering.

AM3257 – 4 to 20 GHz Filter Bank
The AM3257 provides 5 sub-octave bandpass filter states covering 4 GHz to 20 GHz, with an insertion loss of only 5 dB and a rejection of more than 40 dB. The integrated switch network also includes a wideband bypass path. This MMIC is also pin compatible with the AM3194 and AM3186 filter bank chips. Suitable as a receiver preselector or general-purpose sub-octave filtering.

With the introduction of these tunable filter banks, Mercury Systems continues to address the growing need for compact, high-performance RF components that optimize signal integrity across wide frequency ranges. Their combination of low insertion loss, strong rejection, and pin-compatible designs ensures seamless integration for next-generation defense, aerospace, and commercial communication systems.
