Accumet Engineering Inc. A long-serving manufacturing expert at the company, Toruno brings decades of experience in precision manufacturing operations. Her leadership has been instrumental in maintaining and expanding Accumet’s technical and manufacturing capabilities while strengthening its quality-first culture.
Diana’s career reflects a remarkable success story. Originally from Colombia, she began her journey at Accumet in the processing department and steadily advanced by taking on increasing technical and managerial responsibilities. She developed deep expertise as a laser operator before overseeing lapping and polishing operations. Her technical insight and leadership ability later led to roles as production manager and manager of research and development. Over the years, she has solved complex technical challenges and delivered numerous innovative solutions, earning a reputation as a highly skilled and trusted leader within the organization.

Toruno steps into the role at a pivotal time, as Accumet continues to optimize production capabilities at its Devens, Massachusetts facility. Purpose-built for high-volume, high-precision manufacturing, the facility includes advanced laser machining systems, lapping and polishing lines, laser cutting, welding, and marking systems, and an integrated quality control infrastructure designed to meet the demands of high-tech industries. Diana was also instrumental in the design and construction of the new facility.
