SAG has developed the FIDO2 Card, a single-card solution that supports both physical access control and digital asset protection. The card integrates the NXP JCOP 4.5 platform with an MIFARE DESFire EV3 implementation, bringing these functions together in one NFC-enabled device.
The SAG FIDO2 Card is intended for NFC and security applications. It is listed as FIPS certified, meeting CC EAL6+ security requirements and international government, payment, and crypto wallet standards. The card uses an RFID chip configuration combining NXP JCOP 4.5 and DESFire EV3C. It operates using the ISO/IEC 14443A Type A protocol and supports contactless communication through NFC technology.
The card is made of PVC and measures 85.6 x 54 x 0.8 mm. It is specified for operation and storage within a temperature range of -25°C to 50°C and has an IP68 protection rating. This product can be personalized with multiple options, including colourful printing, laser marking, inkjet printing, pad printing, thermal transfer printing, and hot stamping.
