Signal Hound is its new Pulse Analysis Tool Kit for Spike™ software at IMS 2026, taking place in Boston, Massachusetts this week. The licensed software toolkit adds advanced pulse and radar signal analysis capabilities for commercial and defense applications, enabling users to perform measurements required for radar system testing, transmitter troubleshooting, transient and spurious signal analysis, and electronic intelligence (ELINT) applications. Visitors to booth #22016 will be able to see live demonstrations of the Pulse Analysis Tool Kit, along with other solutions from Signal Hound’s expanding RF test and measurement portfolio, including the VSG200 vector signal generator and the VNA400, a USB-C powered 2-port vector network analyzer.
The Pulse Analysis Tool Kit is available as a licensed option in the latest Spike release (version 4.0.15). This new licensed measurement tool kit extends Spike’s value for radar system designers, test engineers, and field operators who require advanced pulse analysis without the cost and complexity of traditional bench systems. The retail price of this upgraded software license is $500 USD annually or a perpetual license for a one-time purchase of $2,000.
The new tool kit is compatible with all Signal Hound wideband receivers, supporting analysis bandwidths up to 160 MHz and frequencies up to 43.5 GHz. Programmed for engineers who need fast, reliable tools in the lab and the field, the Pulse Analysis Tool Kit brings deep pulse analysis insights into a single package. Whether it’s detection and characterization of CW and linear chirp sequences or storage of up to 50,000 pulses in memory to identify trend and history analysis, the Pulse Analysis Tool Kit is up to the task.
