The AC61005 from The Antenna Company is a Flexible Printed Circuit (FPC) LPWA Antenna that operates from 863 to 870 MHz and 902 to 928 MHz. It is designed for unlicensed low-power wide area networking applications, including WiFi HaLow, LoRaWAN, Sigfox, and Wireless M-Bus. This 50-ohm linearly-polarized omnidirectional antenna delivers a peak gain of 2.5 dBi with an efficiency of up to 71%. It can handle an input power of up to 2 W and has a VSWR of less than 1.60:1. It features a ground-plane-independent design and includes adhesive backing (3M 467MP) for installation on non-metallic surfaces in unique and custom enclosures.
The AC61005 is available in a compact FPC package measuring 24.85 × 24.85 × 0.25 mm and is terminated with an MHF1/U.FL-type plug (male) connector via a 1.13 mm coaxial cable available in lengths of 100, 150, or 200 mm. It can operate over a temperature range from -40°C to +85°C and is ideal for LPWAN IoT devices, gateways, and routers operating in the 868 MHz and 915 MHz bands.
