7987AT45A0200001E Image

The 7987AT45A0200001E from Johanson Technology is a Miniature Ceramic Patch Antenna that operates from 7887 to 8087 MHz, covering UWB Channel 9 and tunable to adjacent frequencies. It is fabricated using Low-Temperature Co-fired Ceramic (LTCC) technology, enabling high detuning resilience and thermal stability of approximately 2 ppm/°C. This linearly polarized, directional antenna has a 50-ohm impedance and provides a gain of 3.5 dBi in the +Z direction (normal to the PCB surface). It can handle an input power of up to 1 W (CW) and has a return loss greater than 6 dB.

The 7987AT45A0200001E is available in a compact SMD ceramic patch package measuring 4.0 × 4.0 × 1.5 mm and supports center, corner, or edge PCB placement for flexible integration. This RoHS-compliant antenna is ideal for UWB-based technologies such as Angle-of-Arrival (AoA) and ranging, as well as applications including keyless entry, radar, and home and industrial autonomous mobile robot (AMR) beacons.
