The SDG8000A Series from Siglent Technologies are 2/4-Channel Arbitrary/Function Waveform Generators that operate at frequencies of up to 5 GHz. They are designed to generate high-fidelity waveforms for a wide range of communication (e.g. Bluetooth, IoT, and LTE), industrial, and scientific research applications. These arbitrary waveform generators employ EasyPulse technology to produce low-jitter output waveforms and support fine adjustment of pulse parameters with high resolution. They can generate various analog and digital modulation signal types with a sampling rate of up to 12 GSa/s and a vertical resolution of 16 bits. These generators can also provide vector signal outputs with bandwidths of up to 2 GHz.
The SDG8000A series waveform generators support multi-layer sequence waveform playback with a waveform memory of 4 Gpts per channel, enabling long-duration signal generation. They also support a range of signal-generation capabilities, including low-jitter square/pulse signals, multi-pulse output, multi-tone generation, chirp functions, and PRBS generation. These systems support both single-ended and differential output modes and include 196 built-in arbitrary waveforms for test and measurement applications. They have a 7-inch touchscreen for monitoring and can be controlled remotely using USB, LAN, and optional GPIB interfaces. These generators require a 100-240 V AC supply and consume less than 300 W of power. They are available in benchtop enclosures measuring 426 x 132.5 x 468 mm.
