The AWMF-0200 from Anokiwave is a Tx/Rx Beamforming IC that operates from 26.5 to 29.5 GHz. It has 8 antenna ports that can be connected to 4 dual-polarized antenna elements to support both horizontal & vertical polarization in a phased antenna array. This integrated Silicon quad-core, dual-polarized IC supports half-duplex operation, enabling a single antenna to be used for both transmit and receive operations. It provides all requisite beam steering controls to adjust the phase and gain of the radiating elements without any calibration.
The AWMF-0200 belongs to Anokiwave's Gen-3 ICs that provide higher linear power and lower noise figure than the Gen-2 ICs. This beamforming IC is pin and digital-compatible across all mmWave 5G bands. It is ideal for application in 3GPP-compliant 5G array antennas operating in the n257 and n261 bands.
