The Stinger-Ka-25W from Mission Microwave is a Ka-Band Block Up Converter (BUC) that operates from 29.0 to 31.0 GHz. It is designed to enable a new class of lightweight, high-throughput terminals for maritime, airborne, and transportable SATCOM applications. This BUC delivers an output power of 44 dBm (25.1 W), a linear output power of 42 dBm (15.8 W) for single-carrier operation, and 41 dBm (12.6 W) based on two-tone intermodulation. It supports single-band operation over 29 to 30 GHz or 30 to 31 GHz, as well as dual-band configurations.
The Stinger-Ka-25W can be controlled via Ethernet using the Mission GUI or SNMPv3, and via a serial interface. This BUC is available in a compact enclosure measuring 9.0 × 3.5 × 3.5 inches and is ideal for use in maritime, airborne, and transportable SATCOM applications across commercial, industrial, and government platforms.
