EME Guard

The EME Guard XS Radar from MVG is an EMF Measurement Device that operates from 1 MHz to 40 GHz. It is specifically designed to protect personnel working near radar transmitters and antennas by continuously monitoring electromagnetic field (EMF) levels and detecting short pulsed signals. This RF safety device incorporates an isotropic tri-axis E-field probe that provides continuous EMF measurements in accordance with recognized exposure guidelines such as ICNIRP and FCC 96-326. It has a detection range from 5 to 350 V/m for monitoring EMF exposure levels in high-field environments, and a measurement uncertainty of ±0.9 dB with axial isotropy. 

The EME Guard XS Radar indicates EMF exposure levels using an LED color scale and automatically triggers audio and visual alarms when field levels exceed pre-defined safety thresholds. It can be powered by 2x 1.5 V alkaline batteries or 2x 1.2 V NiMH rechargeable batteries, and also includes a battery charger with 2x charger adapters, enabling portable field operation. This EMF measurement device is available in a portable package measuring 132.5 x 48.5 x 28.7 mm (without adapters) and includes an adapter. It is ideal for installation and maintenance personnel, broadcast and mobile network operators, regulatory authorities, and military and aviation applications.
