The dB-9006 Magnus Opus from dB Control is a Microwave Frequency Synthesizer that operates from 100 MHz to 27 GHz. It has a resolution of 1 Hz with a tuning speed of less than 50 µs. This synthesizer also has a secondary output with a tuning range from 1 to 2000 MHz. This instrument-grade synthesized signal sourcing solution offers the best-in-class phase noise performance with non-harmonic spurious levels of -80 dBc.

 The dB-9006 can be controlled using 4-wire SPI and 2 SCPI interfaces (RS-232 or USB). It requires a DC supply from 9 to 15 V and consumes less than 20 W of power. This frequency synthesizer features over-voltage and reverse polarity protection for high reliability. It is available in a module that measures 7.0 x 5.0 x 0.8 inches and has SMA (female) connectors. This synthesizer is ideal for satellite links, test and measurement, COMMINT, electronic countermeasures, low-jitter ADC/DAC clocks, and radar applications.
