The FR100XQ4 from paraPA is a Multi-Die Front-End Module (FEM) that operates from 8.0 to 11.0 GHz. It is designed for X-band electronic warfare, commercial and military radar, and communications applications, and integrates a T/R switch, limiter, low-noise amplifier, and power amplifier, along with other components in a compact form factor. In the Tx chain, this module delivers a saturated pulsed output power of 10 W (41.3 dBm) with a large-signal gain of 23.5 dB and a power-added efficiency (PAE) of 35.7%, while in the Rx chain, it provides a small-signal gain of 25.3 dB with a noise figure of 2.54 dB.
The FR100XQ4 front-end module requires a DC supply of 24 V (Tx) and 1.8 V (Rx), and consumes 210 mA (Tx) and 90 mA (Rx) of current. It is available in a 44-pad QFN package measuring 7.0 × 7.0 × 1.0 mm and operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
