The mosaic-G5 P8 from Septentrio is a Multi-Constellation, Quad-Band GNSS Receiver that covers GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo, QZSS, and NavIC constellations. It is designed to provide anti-jamming and anti-spoofing protection, along with enhanced situational awareness, for space-constrained devices used in tactical applications. This receiver supports 789 tracking channels, enabling secure all-in-view satellite tracking of all GNSS signals with precise cm-level positioning, ensuring reliable wideband positioning. It accommodates single- and dual-antenna configurations and offers positioning accuracy of 1.2 m (horizontal) and 1.9 m (vertical), with latency under 10 ms.
The mosaic-G5 P8 GNSS receiver also supports Septentrio’s advanced, patented GNSS+ technologies, including AIM+, LOCK+, IONO+, and AIM+ Ultimate, providing enhanced receptivity and spoofing protection in harsh RF environments. It has a cold-start time of less than 35 s, a warm-start time of less than 10 s, and a tracking sensitivity of 20 dB-Hz. This GNSS receiver includes an intuitive user interface for easy monitoring and can be remotely configured and analyzed through RxTools software using UART and USB interfaces. It requires a 3.3 VDC supply and consumes less than 0.67 W of power. This receiver is available in an LGA package measuring 22.8 x 16.4 x 2.4 mm and is ideal for drones, robots, and autonomous systems.
