The ZED-F20P from u-blox is a GNSS Module that supports GPS, Galileo, BDS, QZSS, NavIC and SBAS constellations. This module supports advanced positioning techniques like RTK and PPP-RTK, enabling centimeter-level accuracy with fast convergence and high reliability. It also supports RTCM and SPARTN correction formats, enabling flexibility across local and cloud-based correction sources, including Virtual Reference Stations (VRS) and continental-wide SSR services. This GNSS module has a 672-channel u-blox F20 engine that provides a position accuracy better than 6 cm (PPP-RTK). It has a cold start time of 25 s, an aided start time of 2 s, and a reacquisition time of 2 s.
The ZED-F20P has a tracking & navigation sensitivity of -167 dBm, cold start sensitivity of -148 dBm, hot start sensitivity of -158 dBm, and a reacquisition sensitivity of -160 dBm. It has an update rate of up to 25 Hz, minimal cycle slips, and enables low-noise measurements, making it ideal for precise control loops and smooth path execution. This module supports u-blox location services like AssistNow A-GNSS, PointPerfect Flex GNSS correction, and PointPerfect Live GNSS correction. The module can be controlled via UART, SPI and DDC interfaces. It requires a DC supply of 2.7 to 3.6 V and consumes 55 mA of current. This module is available in an LGA package that measures 17 x 22 x 2.4 mm and is ideal for robotic lawn mowers, unmanned autonomous vehicles (UAVs), and other fast-scaling robotics & industrial automation applications.
