The A20-MX084 from Akon is an Ultra Wideband Single Conversion Miniature Tuner with frequency range from 0.4 to 18 GHz. Signals in the 0.4 to 2.0 band pass through a two channel filter preselector, and these channels are individually upconverted into the 2 to 6 GHz band. Signals in the 2 to 6 GHz band pass through the unit without frequency conversion, only amplification. Signals in the 6 to 18 GHz band pass through a three channel filter preselector and are then individually downconverted to the 2 to 6 GHz band.
The tuner consists of an amplifier, switch, bandpass filter, low pass filter, and up/down converter. It requires a DC supply of 12 V and consumes up to 1.7 A of current. It has two and three-channel filter preselectors that are used to remove harmonics from the signal. The tuner is available in a module that measures 6.8 x 5.1 x 1 inches.
