The ADL6346B from Analog Devices is a Two-Stage Differential Transmit Amplifier (DTA) that operates from 1500 to 2700 MHz. It is designed to interface RF DACs, RF transceivers, and SoCs with power amplifiers, and it integrates an impedance-matching network and an RF balun for differential-to-single-ended conversion without external components. This DTA is fabricated using an advanced SiGe BiCMOS process and provides a power gain of 40 dB with a gain flatness of ±0.2 dB over a bandwidth of ±400 MHz. It delivers a noise figure of 4.0 dB and an OP1dB of 26.0 dBm. This amplifier can handle an RF input power of up to 10 dBm, with an input return loss of 15 dB and an output return loss of 13 dB. It features an ENP enable/disable pin with a switching time of 50 ns and an adjustable DC operating current via external resistors for performance versus power optimization. 

The ADL6346B requires a DC supply of 4.75-5.25 V and draws 440 mA of current. This RoHS-compliant amplifier is available in a 16-lead LFCSP package measuring 3.0 × 3.0 × 0.65 mm and can operate over a temperature range from -40°C to +115°C. It is ideal for use in 4G, LTE, and 5G FDD and TDD broadband systems, macro and micro base stations, remote radio heads, and massive MIMO communication systems.
